Côte d'Ivoire: controversy surrounding the training of FRCI by the French army

Côte d'Ivoire: controversy surrounding the training of FRCI by the French armyIn recent months, the French army, at the request of authorities in Abidjan, has trained some sixty officers of the new Ivorian army. Problem among executives of FRCI (Republican Forces of Côte d'Ivoire) who received training in the techniques of the staff, some are suspected by human rights organizations of
serious human rights abuses during the post-election crisis.

Côte d'Ivoire: controversy surrounding the training of FRCI by the French army
In late January, the eve of the signing of the new defense agreement between France and Ivory Coast, a source at the Elysee Palace ensured that no training would be provided to officers of FRCI suspected of war crimes.
Finally, between the promise of vigilance and the need to rebuild in the new emergency Ivorian army, the French authorities argued for the second option. Last March, Cherif Ousmane and Losseni Fofana, two of the most emblematic figures but also the most controversial of FRCI, received  at the  Port-Bouet  military base some
staff technical trainings  .
In an attempt to deflate the controversy, several French military sources explain that the pedigree of the two former "comzones" is known but the presumption of innocence exists(notice that president Gbagbo is under arrest at la Hague just on the allegation and his family and entourages are under international arrest warrant.for less than this)
"We know that their reputation is sultry but would it not be more pragmatic and teach them the law of armed conflict? The UNOCI does the same thing with the police who committed abuses on behalf of Gbagbo(Again here they make accusations based on allegations and dot talk about the existence of
presumption of innocence , we can establish the pastern of impartiality and even collusion. UN WATCH IVORY COAST emphasis ) , "justifies a French officer stationed in Abidjan. "We focused training on ethics, and insisted that they allow mixing of soldiers who fought on both sides," said a senior officer in Paris.
For these two officers, the real problem lies elsewhere. According to them, the great dangers of the Ivory Coast are in the blocking process of disarmament and reconciliation.(Who benefit this blocking and lack of reconciliation if not the multinational ruling the UN, who use the UNOCI to occupy and installed a regime of insecurity to justify the occupation which serve as a protection for their imposed regime(Ouattara regime) favorable to the open society, open exploitation of the  country resources )Source: RFI

AN IVORY COAST WATCH responds to the French officer:

In Paris, the officer justifies the work of training provided on the basis of Abidjan to former "comzones": "Should we leave  the new Ivorian army head to corporals, or provide them with skills? Like it or not, without these guys it would be the reign of anarchy in [country]. "He concluded:" It is only helping the
legal Ivory Coast . Moreover, it was President Ouattara who asked us to do the job. "
Well Mr the.
terrorist Officer  we have to remind you that we are not all so stupid and  we know how to interpret what you say. In other words you are trying to legalize the illegals  Ivory Coast that you have set up i " Yet with all  that Mr Holland is talking about justice? Especially we know who has been supporting  these criminals and armed them since 2002. .. the Security Council of the UN instead of searching for Kony who is invisible can arrest those war criminals who have the  protection of the so called peace keepers in Cote D'ivoire  who have became a branch of the criminal rebels  ... we understand why they prefer chasing after KONY rather  than the responsible of the genocide of Duekoue ...There Is something that intrigues all of us. it is the fact that they are  always talking  about Soro instead of the supreme chef of the  dozos(FRCI) army who is Ouattara when it comes to the  war crimes from 2002 to date while all the evidences including video from the rebels themselves show that he is the mastermind of these crimes. Yet not a single sanction from the UN  Security Council, not a condemnation Why ? Well the mafia never condemns itself....
