UN tries to make its way out the rubbles in Ivory Coast

Dictatorship, violations of freedoms in CI, BERT KOENDERS, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Côte d'Ivoire (UN-CI) answer  to JFPI(The Youth of the FPI):

"A fair trial. When you want reconciliation, everyone must answer for his actions in court. It should not have double standards. But the problem also is that there is a lack of clarity
between justice and reconciliation. I am also against waves of arrests here and there. It is not good that the government always blames the pro-Gbagbo, when there are attacks against FRCI "
"It is not acceptable for the UN that in a country, there are prisoners because of their political views. But we find that the FPI is the largest party of the opposition, which is why we multiply contacts with the party "
"There is vulnerability both in the government and in the opposition. Mistrust is unfortunately still high in this context. I do not agree with the way the power running the country. "
"The government must make gestures for prisoners. It is important to appease the political climate "

UN WATCH IVORY COAST does not believe its eyes. Is this the kind of answers we receive from the UN regarding

Dictatorship,
violations of freedoms in CI from the internationally recognized president's regime? A regime the UN claimed few weeks ago was democratic although the same UN declared earlier that
members of the regime's armed forces, known as FRCI, are accused of carrying out rapes, acts of torture, armed robberies and other abuses in several locations, therefore
Human rights violations perpetrated by soldiers are on the rise. The question is how a so called democratic regime could have such a high score in human right abuse compared to the previous which was meant to be dictatorial ? And this without a single UN sanction and condemnation ? The answers of the
Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations are so illogical and out of order that they sound ridiculous.""It is not acceptable for the UN that in a countrythere are prisoners because of their political views. But we find that the FPI is the largest party of the opposition, which is why we multiply contacts with the party this answer makes no sens at all and it's no funny either .
