AFTER YOPOUGON, another meeting of the IPF(Ivorian Popular Front) PROHIBITED. The international cautioned dictatorship is growing.

The IPF(Ivorian Popular Front), we may say, is not yet out of the woods in terms of public gatherings under Ouattara's era . Indeed, after the ban to hold the meeting called "liberation" by Ouattara camp  last Saturday, October 15  in Yopougon, the party dear to President Laurent Gbagbo is seen once again faced with  difficulties in meeting that it intends to organize this Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the National Library in the Plateau. A meeting for which according to the IPF MP of  Plateau, Madi Bouabré who held a press briefing last Thursday Marcory, all steps were followed to inform the authorities. "We took care of sending emails with enlargements to the Commissioner of the 1st district in terms of security, and the mayor of the plateau since 11 October to inform them of what we hold our meeting in the auditorium of the National Library, a closed room containing only 100 people.  This meeting was   the result of the IPF section of the Plateau in connection with the JFPI the OFFPI the CEIFPI and NIEA, to take steps to seek the opinion of activists on our participation in the legislative to come ", said the MP.

But what was the problem for what seems a simple matter of paperwork? In this concern Bouabré Madi said he was surprised to see the authorities do nothing to make it easier for IPF. "We are shown a willingness to keep us from meeting together. First is Ms. Commissioner of the 1st district, who takes us back to his superiors in the department for a safety issue for the boardroom. We then sent a letter to one of the assistants of the Chief of Staff of the Minister of the Interior. The assistant then blames us for not having taken  our disposition in  time since his days of hearings are scheduled on Wednesdays. But we were at his office on Wednesday to meet him in vain. All this for a simple briefing of officials of a section of the party. Although the law in this area does not require to go to the ministry. A meeting is  not a gathering held in the public square. Almost as if for a meeting of the district, you have to contact a minister , "Madi Bouabré deplored .

What solution then recommends the section of the  IPF Plateau  to deal with this impasse? "Well, we take the opinion as witness that the authorities does not leave us to express ourselves as we intend to arrange for the legislation. Do we really want to go to the legislative  with everyone? For the moment, we have to postpone our
Saturday meeting in Plateau  until  we certainly have a positive response of the authorities, " IPF MP of Plateau   ended .
