Are some countries abusing Interpol?
Interpol's Red Notices used by some to pursue political dissenters, opponents
OVERVIEW:
Nations aligned with Interpol have used the group not just for chasing
murderers and sex offenders, but as a tool against political opponents
and refugees.
on Saturday October 6 a UN report accusing supporters of Laurent Gbagbo of aligning themselves with Malian coup leader Sanogo and also Ansar Dine in North Mali was reported by Radio France International.
Other mostly picked up on it as true, wondering what the UN Security
Council, on which France has a permanent seat and the "pen" on Cote
d'Ivoire, will do.
But there is a recent history of controversies about UN sanctions groups and their leaders.Many sanctions from the UN as in the case of Ivory Coast were based on manipulated investigation reports from biased "experts". In this case the French who in reality would never be neutral in Ivory Coast therefore against the UN charter of neutrality and impartiality when it comes to be par of the peacekeeping force( strangely the General Secretariat of the peace keeping operation belongs to France and this post has been held by France for many years). In this framework we can understand the whole current situation in Ivory Coast where Outtara and his western supports (clothed in a so called international community which is actually the multinational corporates he represents through the IMF and protected by the UN military and politically) use all in their power against their political opponents such as Gbagbo and his party who happen to be sovereignty minded . France who would like to keep his gripes on his colony and the wealth of this nation has decided to fabricate story use the UN security council and the interpol in order to achieve their goal. Notice that the IMF did its role by pushing illegally the Ivory Coast in the HIPC(High Indebted Poor Country) in one word a bankrupted country and therefore giving the multinational to bail it out or rather own Ivory Coast, For this to be achieved all the militaro - political situation we went through in this country the last 12 years had to be fabricated by usual suspect France, USA. EU , UN . So Now it's the Interpol which is used for political reasons against Gbagbo and his party even those abroad specially those in exile and refugees in Ghana. If we take into account the recent report by the French Ministry of Defense portraying Pan-Africanism and sovereignty quest in Africa as "threat" to the West....We should not be surprised why Ggagbo and his party are under so much attacks.

all the above reports shed light on the current case of Gbagbo spokesperson the Minister of Finance and budget of the exiled legal and legitimate government of Ivory Coast in Ghana, Mr Justin Kone Katinan. We know firsthand that the Interpol arrest warrant listing reagarding Gbagbo's team is equivalent to a conviction, without a legal procedure and many countries would fall in the trap that since it's from Interpol they must comply to it. But we(UN WATCH IVORY COAST and other organization such as the ICIJ etc...) would track down every ubuse and fraudulent procedures on that case.
