The ICC in a completely illegal procedure regading President Gbagbo

Djaratche Gbi
On Monday, November 28, 2011, in a completely illegal procedure, the oldest judges of the Court of First Instance of Plateau commits a hearing of President Laurent Gbagbo on the offenses of "economic crimes". On Tuesday, November 29, 2011, against all odds, the Indictment Division of the Abidjan Court of Appeal notifies the President Laurent Gbagbo an international arrest warrant from the ICC. We then witness a boom in legal and political apparatus to arrive on the same day the transfer of President Laurent Gbagbo to the ICC in The Hague by a procedure just as illegal.

This is a farce and a travesty of justice implemented by President Ouattara to obey the injunctions of his sponsors(The New World Order). It is the supreme manifestation of hatred they devote to President Laurent Gbagbo to his political vision rooted in national sovereignty. It finally convinces the FPI and its allies, as well as national and international opinion on the final refusal of President Ouattara to see an Ivory Coast reconciled.

That is why the Central Committee instructed the Secretariat urgently to take appropriate legal measures, including the mobilization of structures, the national and international opinion and that, as part of the action unit within the NDRC, in order to obtain the final release and the return of President Laurent Gbagbo in Ivory Coast.

In addition, the Central Committee:

Condemns this real politico-judicial-hold-up transfer of President Laurent Gbagbo in The Hague while investigations are ongoing, which is a serious violation of the presumption of innocence accorded to every human being;

- Protests against this abduction policy which is more like a forced exile under the pretext of "international arrest warrant" while the real criminals are the rebels and their leaders whose cases are pending at the Cpi since 2004;

- Denounces collusion with the prosecutor Ocampo Alassane Ouattara on a background of massive corruption which indicators are, among others, the recent secret meeting between the two men in Paris and chartering a private plane by President Ouattara for the transfer of President Gbagbo, while Cpi has the means to that end;

-ensures support and unwavering solidarity of the party to President Laurent Gbagbo in the trial that they would face to the delight of Ivorians and Africans. Until the General Secretariat, in conjunction with the executive bodies of the respective allies of NIEA, undertake suitable actions, the FPI, under the decision of the Central Committee:

-Suspend its participation in any process of reconciliation and calls on all its officers to refrain from any activities relating thereto;

-Affirms that the transfer of President Laurent Gbagbo signs the breakdown of dialogue with the current "Republican government" and its allies. Finally, the Central Committee of the FPI activists ask all supporters, Democrats and African Ivorians to be ready and stay tuned to the Directorate for impending slogans to come.
